| The cello has a two piece, quarter sawn spruce top, and a one piece maple back, cut on the slab and well flamed.
The ribs ae made of similar material as the back.
Neck and scroll are carved of a tight grained maple block.
The instrument has a red varnish, applied over a yellow ground.
Reconstituted and appraised by Ernst Luthi of Luthi Violins, Redmond, WA in 1993
