Jeremy Lin Cellist

I was born in 1986 and became a cellist at the age of 3, shortly before the 1989 earthquake in San Francisco. Despite this evil omen, I became a cellist and was soon studying with Irene Sharp. I have changed teachers three times.

I go to school at San Francisco Day School (non-profit, K-8 school). I have three sisters, two of whom (they're twins) started playing violin at the age of two years ten months, and the oldest who started violin at 5 years 10 months. The oldest twin started playing cello when she was eight. Their ages are 22, 22 and 25 (as of May 23, 1998).

My favorite composer is Bartok.
